We used to have a sound machine that was so fiddly to use and got fed up so decided to upgrade to the Snoora. We haven’t looked back. The sound settings are wonderful, to be able to mix and match different sounds means you can find the perfect sound mix for your little one and the dimmable light settings have been perfect for night time feeds. I love how light weight, rechargeable and portable it is, making it perfect for moving between upstairs and downstairs and taking it to the grandparents place when babysitting. There are so many other settings we still haven’t explored but I can see the alarm and timer being useful for beyond the baby stage too, meaning such great longevity. So grateful we upgraded!
Brilliant! Everything I needed! Giving it 5 stars, but there could be enhancements (see below).
Firstly, no dumb badly-designed apps to make it work - just plug it in and it works. I love that you can design your own white noise. And there's no obvious break in the loop.
Four things that would make it next level:
* Make the buttons less "clicky" - the noise makes me nervous as I've just settled baby 😅
* Put a very dim light behind the buttons - or glow paint maybe ?
* Make the digital display a warm (orange or red) light instead of the white/cool colour.
* The digital display brightness should cycle from bright down to dim on each press, not dim to bright.
100% would recommend this to any new parent.
I didn't think a white noise machine would make this much difference. Our little girl would only fall asleep while being rocked, and the second we put her down, she'd wake up crying. We started using Snoora every night with a mix of rain and flowing water, and after a few nights it became part of her bedtime routine. She now settles so much faster, and bedtime isn't the battle it used to be. Highly recommended!
